Clean Device, Better Experience

In the previous text we listed the reasons why regular maintenance of IQOS devices is necessary for longevity and optimal enjoyment. In continuation we will give a more detailed overview of the instructions for maintenance of IQOS 3 DUO and lil Solid 2.0.

IQOS 3 DUO

First, it should be noted that it is very important to clean the devices with the original cleaning tools - the IQOS cleaning tool and sticks, and not with improvised objects. The specialized cleaning set is technically adapted to each of the device components. Random items can cause damage to the product.

It is recommended to clean the device after every 20 uses. The first thing you need to do is to turn off the holder. The tobacco heater is placed in the holder, so you should wait at least 30 seconds from the last use, for the heater to cool completely. Then remove the cap and shake the device to remove the tobacco residue. Check if the cleaning tool is in good condition and insert it in the holder without rotating it, and after it is set correctly, make 2-3 semicircular movements. The movements should be gentle, without pressing roughly. Stop turning and carefully remove the cleaning tool from the cap. Return the cap to its original position. For a flawless user experience, it is better to clean the device 2 to 3 times a week with the IQOS cleaning sticks. The procedure is very similar to the tool: the holder is cooled 30 seconds after the last use and the cap is removed from the holder. Then carefully clean the walls around the heater with one of the sticks. Once you are done with this part, clean the inside of the cap as well. lil Solid 2.0

For both IQOS 3 DUO and this device, cleaning after every 20 uses is recommended. Turn off the device. First open one side of the dual cleaner where the wiper is located. Open the lid of the lil Solid device. Insert the part where the needle is located and make semicircular movements. Once you are done with the wiper, open the other side of the cleaner where the brush is located. Use this part to brush the space around the needle. Finally, return the cap.

In addition to the manual option, lil Solid 2.0 also offers an option for automatic cleaning and maintenance. To start the automatic cleaning, the first thing you need to do is to press the button on the device 5 times for the orange light to start blinking that lasts for 90 seconds. Once the cleaning process is completed, the device gives a signal with 2 vibrations after which the flashing light goes off by itself.
